SMARVOOThis Privacy Policy explains how Smarvoo Enterprise ("Smarvoo", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use smarvoo.com, our apps and our products. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable laws.
1. Data we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number and password.
- Content you provide: dream journal entries, assessment answers, preferences and messages you send us.
- Location (optional): used only to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. You can turn it off and set your city manually.
- Payment and order details: items bought, amounts, dates and, for furniture, your delivery address. Card details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
- Technical data: device type, app version, IP address and usage data, used to keep our services working and secure.
2. How we use your data
- To provide our apps and products, including personalised reflections, career insights and prayer times.
- To process payments, subscriptions, deliveries and refunds.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To improve and secure our services and prevent fraud.
- To send product updates or waitlist news, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
Our legal bases are your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our services, and compliance with the law.
3. Sensitive information
Some content you share, such as dream entries or information about your religious practice, may be sensitive. We use it only to provide the features you ask for, protect it with appropriate security, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
4. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- payment processors, to take payments;
- hosting, email and analytics providers that help us run our services;
- delivery partners, for furniture orders; and
- authorities, where the law requires it.
These providers may only use your data to provide services to us. If data is transferred outside Nigeria, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, financial records). When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your content within a reasonable period.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email info@smarvoo.com. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password safe.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Parents who believe their child has given us data can contact us to have it removed.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell you about significant changes.
